Spiritually we should be focused. For instance, failure to acknowledge and deliberately serve God Almighty will lead us to a path of confusion and destruction. So we must be spiritually inclined towards God as only He can make our lives meaningful. How do you do this? All you need do is to acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. Also you need to grow in the spirit. How do I grow in the spirity? I have two books for you here. The first one is titled 'It's Time to Grow UP in the Spirit' by Pastor Yemi Omogboyega and 'The Fruitful Minister by the same author. The two books are published for RCCG, Achievers Mobile Centre. If you read these books, your spiritual focus will no doubt spring up.
There's time for everything. In live, having been born, we are expected to complete certain natural cycles: to be educated, to work, to get married, to become parents and to retire happy and finally as Christians, to make heaven. All these things have time tag attached to them. For instance, if you fail to go to school when you should, you will pay dearly for that error. When its time to work, you should have something good doing. When it is time to marry, if you delay more than necessary, you will surely pay the price. If you don't train your children in the way of the Lord, there's a price tag for that. Ask Eli the Prophet in the Bible, he will tell you his experience. If you fail to plan for your retirement, you may retire into penury. So everything is sensitively timed that we need to be focused in pursuing them.
